Turkey Burger with Mango Salsa and Sweet Potato Fries

Organic turkey mixed with mango chutney, onion and spices. Served over butter lettuce with a fresh mango salsa and a side of sweet potato fries.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Ib Organic ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp mango chutney can be found at any grocery store
  • 2 tbsp green onion- chopped
  • 1 tsp liquid seasoning preferably Bragg's liquid aminos
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 mango- peeled and diced
  • 2 tbsp red onion- diced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro- chopped
  • 2 jalapenos- finely chopped
  • 2 sweet potatoes- peeled, cut in half and then into sticks. doesn't have to be perfect.
  • 1 tbsp seasoning salt
  • avocado oil for drizzling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425
  • Put sweet potato sticks on a baking sheet. Add seasoning salt and then drizzle with avocado oil. Using your hands mix all of the ingredients together. Place in the oven for 15 minutes, or until potatoes are soft and crispy.
  • Place turkey, green onion, 1/2 of the chopped chili, liquid seasoning, mango chutney and eggs in a bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are combined. Set aside.
  • Place a large pan over medium/high heat. Drizzle the bottom with avocado oil. When pan is hot, form the turkey mixture into patties and place in the pan. Brown on each side for 7-8 minutes.
  • While burgers are cooking make the salsa. Add mango, cilantro, red onion, remaining chili, and garlic salt in a bowl. Mix well. Set aside.
  • To serve, place burgers on a piece of butter lettuce. Top with mango salsa and a side of sweet potato fries.
